The threats come from an Internet flyer calling for the “Oklahoma purge.” It’s in reference to the 2013 movie by the same name where all crime, including murder, is legal for one night.

According to the flyer, the Oklahoma purge will take place on Aug. 30 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Aug. 31. Law Enforcement officers in the state are aware of the flyer and are monitoring the situation.
