In the April/March edition of American Cowboy magazine, Pushmataha County was listed as one of the top 20 rural counties from across the west for living out one’s cowboy dreams. Area’s that were selected came equipped with plenty of sky, grass and remote, each which come together to form a “fine destination well worth a visit -- or relocation.”
