Thomas Olden Wade

Thomas Olden Wade was born November 24, 1930 in Sardis to Lawrence Olden and Effie Lena (Carollton) Wade. He passed from this life August 24, 2011, in Durant at the age of 80. Thomas served his country in the United States Marine Corps, working his way up to Sergeant. He married Neta Fay Labor in Wilburton in 1951. Together, they had two daughters before parting ways. Thomas retired from the Dallas Police Department where he worked for many years as an investigator. He later married Guinda Homer in Arkansas.

Joyce Marie Mullin

Joyce Marie Mullin was born April 8, 1934 in Moyers and spent most of her life in the Neosho area.  Joyce passed from this life on August 25, 2011 at Freeman West Hospital, following a lengthy illness at the age of 77. She was a homemaker, loved to cook and can and was a member of the DAV Auxiliary and Silvermoon Full Gospel Church.  She married Wallace D. Thrasher, who preceded her in death and then married Arthur J. Mullin on Nov. 12, 1966 in Neosho, MO., and he preceded her in death on September 29, 1988.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Bill L.

Veneda Beatrice Latham

Veneda Beatrice Latham was born November 6, 1923 in Bokchito to Jesse James and Jewel (Hamlin) McCarty. She passed from this life August 30, 2011 in Antlers at the age of 87. Veneda had been a member of Darwin Baptist Church for many years. She married William David Latham in 1955. Veneda enjoyed caring for her family & cooking, especially for large holiday gatherings. She loved to sew and made most of her own clothes and several items for her friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed taking a drive and doing some local traveling with her family.
