Lee Roy Ward was born April 22, 1915 in Kosoma, to Eastman and Sibble (Frazier) Ward. He passed from this life November 30, 2012 in Antlers, at the age of 97. Lee Roy married his beloved, Alice Ann Betsey, in Paris, TX. He worked for Muskogee Bridge Co. for many years. Lee Roy enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, fishing, hunting, playing pranks on others , which made him the greatest jokester. After work he liked to work on his trucks. Most of all Lee Roy enjoyed spending time with his family.
June Skelton was born June 14, 1955 in Antlers to Ruben and Pat (Ross) Jacks. She passed from this life December 2, 2012 in Antlers, at the age of 57. June married Isaac George "Skeeter" Skelton in Paris, TX. She enjoyed coloring, building detailed models of houses and churches, most of all spending time with family and friends. June was preceded in death by her husband: "Skeeter" Skelton; her parents: Ruben Jacks and Pat Billings; one brother: Billy Stanley.
Betty Zane Ansley was born August 26, 1926 in Boswell to Morgan and Ruby (Pardue) Walker. She passed from this life October 20, 2012 in Antlers, at the age of 86. She had lived in this area all of her life and was a member of the Church of Christ in Boswell and Hugo. Betty married Floyd Thomas Ansley on September 16, 1948 in Denison, TX. She and her late husband Floyd owned and operated a Pulpwood business in Antlers. Betty was a homemaker, enjoyed reading, and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Ansley in 2011 and one brother, Billy Waker.
Rosamond Henderson Park was born August 12, 1933 in Jumbo,to Harvey L. and Rosie N. (Maxey) Napier. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 16, 2012 in Dallas, TX., at the age of 79. Rose spent many years as the owner/operator of a wholesale jewelry company. She was a Realtor for Remax in Garland, TX., for several years prior to retiring. She had a flair for dress and loved bright colors and jewelry. While residing at Atria Assisted Living in Richardson, her friends often commented on her sharp dress and style. Rose had a keen sense of humor and loved to laugh.
