Evelyn Leola Streun was born February 6, 1944 in Norman to R.E. and Dovie (Logan) Gay. She passed from this life on August 6, 2012 in Antlers at the age of 68. Evelyn married Ronnie Streun on September 8, 1962 in Norman. She lived in Antlers for the last 35 years. Evelyn had had many hobbies and interests such as gardening, flowers, cooking, canning, watching bull riding & America's Got Talent. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family & friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents: R.E.
Gary Lee Thompson was born June 12, 1941 in Marion, IN., to Robert M. and Geneva J. (Samples) Thompson. He passed from this life August 16, 2012 at home in Snow at the age of 71. Gary raised and traded cattle, trained horses, but his passion was calf roping. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps. Gary later married Shirley Armstrong November 10, 2004 in DeQueen, AR. Gary was preceded in death by his parents: Robert M. Thompson and Geneva J.
Larry David Heath was born on February 5, 1948, in Greenville, TX. He passed from this life on August 10, 2012 in Tuskahoma at the age of 64. SSgt. Larry D. Heath proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 a the Tuskahoma Baptist Church in Tuskahoma.

Calvin Odell McKerley was born on December 25, 1924, in Miller. Calvin Odell McKerley, known by most as â€śMacâ€ť or â€śC.O.,â€ť had his family convinced that heaven was in the foothills of the Kiamichi Mountains in Southeast Oklahoma and the waters of the Blue Hole on Davenport Creek had healing powers. On July 24, 2012, surrounded by his loving family, he passed from this earth at the age of 87. Selfless and dedicated to his family, he worked hard all of his life to see that they were taken care of.
Only days after the arrival of her son, songwriter Kenny O'Dell of Nolensville, Tennessee, locally known as Kenny Gist, Jr.; Marian Gist, 86, of Santa Maria, California passed peacefully away early in the morning hours of July 24, 2012 after a two week battle with lung and heart failure. Marian was surrounded by friends and loved ones during her last few days. A graveside service with Rev. Gary Grant officiating will take place at the Santa Maria Cemetery at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Marian, was born July 19, 1926 on the family farm in Antlers, to Gordon and Lydia Westbook.
Pete Wilkins was born on April 21, 1956 to Melvin Lloyd Wilkins and Chesolene Wilkins Thurman in Hugo. He passed from this life on Friday, July 13, 2012 in Cloudy at the age of 56. Pete had lived all of his life in the Rattan/Cloudy area. He married Evelyn Rose Bryant on December 20, 1975 in Antlers. He enjoyed giving advice, buying cattle and driving his granddaughter, Kimber on the ranger. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rattan and graduated from Rattan High School in 1974. Pete believed in being a good neighbor and was a loving husband, father and friend to all.
Wanda Joann Stanley, 57, passed from this life on Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Moyers. Private family services will be held at a later date and time. Arrangements entrusted to Mills~Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers.
Roy Earl Jackson was born December 13, 1930 in Antlers to Roy and Nora Mae (Labor) Jackson. He passed from this life July 8, 2012 in Paris, TX, at the age of 81. Roy served his country in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. He was a car salesman in Antlers for many years, owning Jackson Motors. He married Bernice Thomas on August 19, 2000 at Antlers First Baptist Church. He had served on the City Council since 1988 and was the Mayor of Antlers for 19 years.
Joseph George Malakowsky was born October 13, 1947 in Longview, WA., to Harvey and Geraldine (Guyon) Malakowsky. He passed from this life July 5, 2012 in Plano, TX., at the age of 64. Joseph married Barbara Ann Edwards October 10, 1969 in Murphy, TX. Joseph served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and Korean War as a Seargent First Class (E-7). During his military career, he served as a Drill Seargent, on the Tunnel Team DMZ, instructor at West Pointe and as an advisor for the national guard.
Cathie Laverne Loftin was born on November 23, 1942 to the late Dorothy (Walker) and Vernon Robbins in Black Fork, OK. She passed from this life on Monday, July 2, 2012 in Garland, TX., at the age of 69. Cathie was from the Nashoba area, but passed in Garland where she spent her last few weeks with her daughter. She was a very classy lady. She loved to cook but loved to eat it even more. She was a wonderful mother to her two daughters Robbi Dawn and Cathie Dale. She loved being a nanny. Cathie loved life. She liked to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
