Donnie Joe Talley was born on April 11, 1989 in Antlers to Don and Barbara (Watts) Talley. He passed from this life on May 8, 2011 in Perry at the age of 22. He graduated in 2007 from Perry High School and was attending Spartan College in Tulsa. Donnie was a ranch hand. He enjoyed horseback riding, rodeos, hunting and fishing. Donnie was preceded in death by his grandfather Hack Watts and friend Cole Buchanan. He is survived by his parents Don F.
Jessy Lee Eugene Ervin was born February 26, 1928 in McAlester to James Lee Roy and Sarah Ellen (Branch) Ervin. He passed from this life May 6, 2011 in Calera at the age of 83. Eugene served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He married Ruby Christine Burnett December 24, 1948 in Yuba and together they raised four children. They moved back to this area in 1963 from west Texas. Eugene loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Roger Mills Neese, 77, of Sayre passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 in Antlers. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Oddfellows Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers.
JaniceÂ Kay Bell, 68, of Clayton passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at her residence. Memorial services were held at the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 2, 2011 with Mike Smith officiating. Interment followed at Clayton Old Town Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Clayton Funeral Home of Clayton.
Beverly Jean Worley, 78, of Des Moines, IA passed from this life on Monday, April 25, 2011 in Antlers. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Mills & Coffey Chapel in Antlers. Interment followed at Broken Bow City Cemetery in Broken Bow. Arrangements entrusted to Mills& Coffey Funeral Home in Antlers.
Hulen Randolph Crittenden, 92, of Clayton, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Davis. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Stanley Cemetery in Stanley with Johnny Beckmon officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Clayton Funeral Home in Clayton.
Brandon Ray Winship was born May 5, 1986 in Ada to Jackie Leroy and Sherry Rae (Winship) Cook. He passed from this life May 2, 2011 in Rattan at the age of 24. Gator grew up in Bonham, TX., and had lived in the Rattan area for the past seven years. He was of the Baptist faith, and he enjoyed riding horses, hunting, and helping Nana in the kennel. Most of all, Gator loved spending time with his family and friends.
Donald Ray Felihkatubbee was born May 16, 1940 in Talihina to Osborn and Etta Katherine (Flowers) Felihkatubbee. He passed from this life on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Antlers at the age of 70. Donnie served his country in the United States Army. He lived in Palo Alto, CA., for 12 years. Donnie worked on classified projects under contract for Hewlett-Packard for the U.S. government. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Donnieâ€™s passion was music. He was a talented musician and played several different instruments, specifically the electric and acoustic guitar.
Vicki Bell Savage was born December 30, 1946 in Copeville, TX., to Walter Levi and Jessie Henrietta (Jones) Wester. She passed from this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Antlers at the age of 64. Vicki married Clarence Troy Savage on May 6, 1965 in Gilliam, AR. They have lived in this community for 35 years and together, have raised five children. Vickiâ€™s legacy lives on through her four daughters, one son, ten grandchildren and two greats. Vicki was a member of Finley Baptist Church and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She touched many lives.
Sammie Louise (Tipton) Edmondson was born on March 31, 1934 in Comanche to the late Mr. Jess G. Tipton and Mrs. Minnie Roberta (Scott) Tipton. She passed from this life on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Rattan at the age of 77. Sammie was raised at Mountain Home attending school there until her high school years where she graduated from Ringling High School. She married Mr. Melvin â€śRedâ€ť Rhea Edmondson February 4, 1952 at Ft. Hood, TX. They initially made their home in Ringling before they moved to Alaska. Sammie always worked very hard.
