I suspected that when summer arrived that it would arrive all of a sudden and with a vengeance. Sure enough it has been almost August like i the weather department here lately.
I recommend playing golf in the morning if a person can. The mornings have been nice. Of course that is when we do most of the course work but I figure we could watch out for each other.

Billy Latham, Pushmataha County Sportsman Club
On Saturday, June 11, members of the Pushmataha County Sportsman Club held a team bass tournament on Pine Creek Lake. The lake is ten feet below normal level due to repair construction being done on the dam. The areas that most anglers usually fish were high and dry which made locating bass difficult for some. However, there were a few that seemed to have no trouble finding some "keeper" bass.
