I was out and about early this morning and couldn’t help but notice how beautiful everything looks at that time of the day. Things change drastically around noon. I’ll sure be glad when we get through this drought.
We had some play during the morning over the weekend. We had one group that finished play around 3 p.m. and they were worn out due to the heat.
It is definitely recommended that folks get in their golf in the mornings or later in the evening.
On July 11, 2011 a new lake record was made for Broken Bow Lake. The fish, was a 1.2 lb Sunfish that was caught in the Carson Creek Area by a little girl by the name of Maysa Weeks of Rufe.
Weeks was using a Shimano reel with a falcon rod using hard bait/plugs with the bait casting method. The fish was weighed alive and was 11.5” long and had a girth of 11”. Weeks also decided to keep the catch after it was recorded at the Frontier General Store.
