A lot of changes have been taking place at Antlers Public Schools. They have not only welcomed a new Superintendent of schools but also a new head football coach onto their staff.
Two local student-athletes received rather special awards at week long basketball camp that they attended in Oklahoma City July 10th through the 15th. While at the Oklahoma Christian Cage Camp the girls practiced and learned new skills, participated in scrimmages and took on other teams from all over the state in games. On the last day of camp an awards ceremony was held for the 250 plus attendees who participated throughout the week.
Although we have been hit with record breaking temperatures and no rain, fishing is apparently still going good for Faith and Asa Miller. They caught these large crappie on the Kiamichi River.
