Antlers Springs Golf Course is closing.
I hate it but there is no other course of action. We barely make enough to mow, much less make improvements. Without local support we cannot continue.
There are few people coming into the game and many people giving it up for various reasons. I talk to people regularly who say that they haven’t played in a couple of years or more. These people used to play avidly.

On July 30, members of the Pushmataha County Sportsman Club competed in a bass tournament on Hugo Lake. Once again, temperatures reached above one hundred degrees. This excessive warm water has apparently caused the bass to become sluggish and slowed the bite down considerably.
