Members of the Pushmataha County Sportsman Club held the 41st Annual Big Bass Rodeo on April 21st and 22nd. The big bass tournament was held on Pine Creek Lake. Fifty-five boats with over one hundred anglers were entered in the event. Cash prizes and trophies were awarded to the top five finishers.
Junior Bassmasters to Fish State Tournament
Members of the Pushmataha County Junior Bassmasters Club will travel to Lake Eufaula on Sunday, April 29, 2012 to compete in the 2012 Oklahoma B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Junior Bassmasters State Tournament.
Six members of the club qualified to compete in this year’s event. In the 11-14 year age group, Jake Nabors and Jordan Haddox will be competing. Four members qualified in the 15-18 year age group. They are Dillan Holiman, Chelsi Thomas, Jessie Shrader and David Atwood.
