Adam Joseph Steele was born July 18, 1977 in Oklahoma City to Rick and Debbie Steele of Antlers. Adam was riding his motorcycle on September 2, 2012 when a vehicle accidentally turned in front of him, causing him to lose control. Adam was taken to the OU Medical Center and was pronounced dead the following day, September 3rd. Adam saved many lives by generously donating his organs to several people within the state. In 1995 he graduated from Antlers High School where he excelled in football and academics. Adam pursued his love of the outdoors and worked as a land surveyor for Curtis Hale and James Buckley in Oklahoma City. Adam and his wife Jennifer were faithful members of the Del City Church of Christ where they met and fell in love. Adam had a passion for running marathons and staying active. He was a devoted husband, father, family member and friend. He fully supported his wife as a new police officer. He was known for his trademark smile, witty sense of humor and his kind heart toward everyone. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Marvin (Buddy) and Geraldene Northcutt of Oklahoma City as well as his aunt Becky Gunion. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, son Adam Joseph Steele Jr., stepson Cayden, parents, paternal grandparents Bob and Mary Steele of Midwest City, his two brothers Ricky and Tyler, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to thank the Oklahoma City Police Department as well as friends and family for their love and support. Funeral services for Adam were conducted by Ford Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Del City Church of Christ.
