Antlers 8th Grade Girls Honored at Tea

April 29, 2011

On Friday, April 8th, 2011, the 8th grade girls of Obuch Middle School were honored at a graduation tea hosted by Dr. Twana Smith. The tea was held at the First Baptist fellowship hall in Antlers. Twenty nine lovely, well dressed young ladies enjoyed specially prepared snack foods, cake and ice cream and beautifully decorated tables catered by Vonda Reed. Several ladies from different occupational fields were invited to attend and speak to the girls about being successful in life and in their careers, taking care of their bodies, being thankful, and finding positive role models. The speakers included Dr. Beth Leader, Marla Maple, Ronnell Bouffleur, Karla Luginbill, and Amanda Morton. Photos were taken of each girl by Holiman Photography. Special thanks to Dr. Twana Smith and her staff for making the afternoon a pleasant memory for each them.
