Antlers Woman arrested for counterfeit bills

Amanda White, 38, arrested on 44 counts of uttering counterfeit currency in Tulsa.

An Antlers woman is currently in the Tulsa County jail after officers discovered nearly 50 counterfeit $100.00 bills in her vehicle.

According to reports, the police were called to Hobby Lobby on 71st Street in Tulsa to respond to a disturbance in the store.

Amanda Marie White, 38, attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill and was handcuffed and escorted to the store's office to wait on the police.

During the investigation, White told police she got the bill from Home Depot. When the Tulsa Police contacted Home Depot, they were told White passed a counterfeit $100 bill with the same serial number.

Officers also discovered other counterfeit bills in White's vehicle.

White was booked for 44 counts of uttering counterfeit currency and two counts of uttering a forged instrument. She is being held in lieu of $46,000 bond.

Tulsa Police also contacted the U.S. Secret Service.

Reports show that White moved to Antlers from Dallas, TX.
