Bad weather already causing accidents

December 5, 2013

Winter weather has hit Pushmataha County quicker than expected. Reports have came in that vehicles have already started to lose control on the highways and one has already flipped, trapping the driver.

Do NOT get out on the roads if it is not 100% necessary! Stay home and stay safe. The weather is supposed to continue to get worse as the day gives way to night and more rain and sleet comes our way.

PSO is well along in its preparations for responding to the developing winter storm that has hit our area. Pushmataha County is located in the area that has the greatest potential for disruption in electric service due to ice on lines.

Please remain safe, bring outside animals inside. If you are cold they are as well.
