2010-2011 Antlers Bearcats and Lady Cats pose together before their Homecoming Games

The Antlers Bearcats and Lady Cats celebrated their Basketball Homecoming on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Bearcat Gym.  The Bearcats took the court against the Tigers with something to prove. After the whistle signifying the start of the game the Bearcats drew first blood.  From right of the bat this was a very physical, fast paced and aggressive game.  The Tigers learned very quickly that #33- Bryce Martin couldn’t be left uncovered because of his 3-point shooting abilities.  At half-time the score was Bearcats 24, Tigers 17.

After the half the Bearcats came out and picked up the game right where they had left it but the Tigers came out with a new attitude and weren’t going to take it easy.  The fourth quarter was more of the same.  The Tigers had really started to sink their teeth in but the Bearcats were not going to give up.  At the end of the game the final score had the Antlers Bearcats taking the win with a score of 46-36.
