Bearcats lose 59-13

September 6, 2012

The score did not match the heart that these 19 young men played with on Friday night, but in the end the Bearcats were no match for the Valliant Bulldogs. Valliant showed skill and determination but the Bearcats never gave up as they struggled against the Bulldogs defense. Valliant took home the “W” with a final score of 59 - 13.

The Bearcats have a true "brothers in arms" compassion for each other this year and they believe in each other. They never quit, never gave up. This group of young men played as a team.

Quarterback John Poe had 115 yards, 18 carries, 6.3 average rushing yards, 1 touchdown, 214 passing yards, 21/29 for 72% passing. Senior Chandon Draper had 12 catches for 144 yards, 1 touchdown, 360 yards total offense.

They will take the field again on Friday, September 7th in Talihina.
