Bob Parsons

Bob Parsons was born August 8, 1985 in Idabel to B.J. Parsons and Yonna Parsons. He passed from this life on July 3, 2011 in Idabel at the age of 25. A Carpenter, Bob had lived in McCurtain County all of his life and was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed working and fixing things, taking his kids fishing, going mudding and spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife, Amanda Bryant, were in married on March 6, 2010 in Hot Springs, AR.  Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Slim and Lucille Roath and by his best friend, Ashley Phillips.  He is survived by his wife, Amanda, son Heath Parsons and daughter Reagan Bills of the home; father: B.J. Parsons of Valliant; mother: Yonna Parsons of Antlers; brother: David Parsons of Antlers; sisters: Marie Pollard of Cove, AR and Jennifer Atkinson of Caldwell, ID; nieces and nephews, Davin Parsons, Conner Parsons, Dayne Parsons, McKenzie Pollard, Lucas Self, Gracy Self, Alex Pollard, Payden Pollard, Chloe Pollard and Lexie Alderman; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow.  Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Idabel with Bro. Aubrey Thompson officiating.  Interment followed at Holly Creek Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to www.bunchsingleton.com
