Bobby R. Jarrett was born January 24, 1938, in Walnut Ridge, AR, to Avery and Mattie (Stroud) Jarrett. He passed from this life June 6, 2013, in Denison, TX, at the age of 75. Bobby enjoyed spending time with friends to go dancing three times a week. In his younger years, he enjoyed being outside training horses and competing in shows. Most of all, he loved his outfitting days through the mountains of Colorado. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents: Avery & Mattie Jarrett; grandparents; & brother: Max Freer. He is survived by his sister: Nona Lolmaugh of Southbend, IN; daughters: Melissa Newlun & husband Morris of Farmington, NM, Teresa Peavy of Tuckerman, AR, and Tammy Jarrett of Temple, TX; grandchildren: Matthew Newlun, Michael Newlun, Jonathan Peavy, & Taylor Peavy; great-grandchildren: Kale Newlun & Drew Newlun; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Mills & Coffey Funeral Chapel with Reverend Jim Collier officiating. Music was “Go Rest High On That Mountain”, “I Can Only Imagine”, “Amazing Grace”, “Too Old To Die Young”, & “Cowboy Rides Away”. Pallbearers included Glen Bartek, Lupe Renteria, Pablo Renteria, Roger Buchanan, & Dean Stapleton with Honorary Pallbearers as Donna Buchanan & Sherry Stapleton. Interment followed at Darwin Cemetery. Family and friends may send online condolences at www.millscoffey.com.
