Buchanan Places 7th at State Golf Tournament

On May 9th & 10th, 2011, Treg Buchanan, a Senior at Antlers High School, participated at the OSSAA State Golf Tournament which was held at the Cimeron Trails Golf Course in Perkin. It was a 54 hole tournament which lasted for two days.

Treg shot a 76 and a 73 on opening day and got a 83 on the second day of the Tournament. When all the scores were tallied, Treg finished tied for 7th place out of a total of 73 high school golfers in Class 3A.

"Treg has done an outstanding job on the courses this spring," said Coach Mark Rosa. "This was his 3rd consecutive year to make the state golf tournament. We are so proud of him!"

Treg has signed a letter of intent to play golf for Paris Junior College in Paris, TX!
