Carol Sue Baldwin was born November 17, 1941 in Idabel to Hylo and Evia (Farley) Pitt. She passed from this life March 25, 2011 in Eufaula at the age of 69. Carol married Doyle Hood Baldwin on September 24, 1960 in Hugo and together they raised three children. Carol lived in the Rattan & Antlers communities all of her life. She was a member of Antlers First Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents: Hylo & Evia Pitt; two brothers: Hal Pitt and Terry Pitt; and a nephew: Stephen Pitt. She is survived by her husband of 50 years: Doyle of the home; children: Jennifer Carol Jacks & husband Sonny of Antlers, Amanda Jill Allen & husband Mike of Dubach, LA, and William Hood Baldwin & wife Melissa of Rattan; grandchildren: Joshua Lee Jacks, Jayci Carol Jacks, Cale Michael-Leon Allen, Codi Amanda-Misheal Allen, and McKenzi Ann Baldwin; brother: Tommy Pitt & wife Mardi of Spencerville; sisters: Georgia Patterson of Tulsa, Karlene Kalenek & husband Dan of Odessa, TX, and Patsy Pruit & husband Dick of Spencerville; sisters-in-law: Shirley Pitt, and Mozelle & husband Ed Maddox of Idabel as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Antlers First Baptist Church with Reverend Aaron Reed and Dan Kalenak officiating. Musical selections included: "Amazing Grace," "I Can Only Imagine," and â€śHomesickâ€ť Performed by: Chuck Battles, Kristen Johnson and Leigh Peters. Pallbearers included: Tony Kalenak, Eric Kalenak, Gayle Patterson, Pat Patterson, Randall Pruit, Ryan Pitt, Richard Pitt, Todd Pitt and Jon Harv Tucker. Honorary pallbearers were: Buddy Putty, Otis Martin, Jerry Morse, Joey Martin, Joe McKee, Mike Fuller, Charles Taylor, Reese Harrell and Billy Perrin.
