Cattlemen’s Annual Dinner to be held October 19th

October 17, 2013

Once again October is here, it is time for our annual dinner.

Our program this year will be on farm safety. This is something we all get slack about, we all think we are invincible and take short cuts that end up being costly, wither in loss of equipment , loss of time, loss of limb or life. This year we lost one of our members due to a freak accident. Something we have all done, jump starting a tractor standing in front of the back tires.

Once again we as Pushmataha, Atoka, Choctaw County Cattlemen’s Association, we are luck enough to sign into our organization enough new members to win the Priefert 504 Squeeze Chute. We are selling chances on it. $10 each or 6 for $50. To be given away October 19, 2013.

Gobob from Mounds, OK., has donated a hay con server, hay ring to us to be auctioned off. The proceeds from one hay ring will go into the Jr. Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship fund.

Lots of door prizes, good food and good conversation will also take place at the dinner. Come early to hear Bill Grant perform bluegrass and gospel country cowboy songs before dinner.

The dinner will be on October 19th at the Kiamichi Vo-Tech in Hugo. For more information please contact Cairl Collins at 580-513-6428.
