August 9, 2012

Deputy Phyllis Davis of the Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Department retired after 14 years of service to our community on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. She was presented a plaque to commemorate the occasion in a surprise presentation in the County Courthouse. Tears where shed as coworkers and friends wished her well during her retirement. Sheriff Duncan presented Davis with the plaque and stated that it is hard to find someone who is loyal, who does their job without question and who is truly a law enforcement officer.
