Donald Masters

Donald R. “Don” Masters was born on September 19, 1940 to Walter B. and Eunice (McAllister) Masters of Antlers. He passed from this life on January 4, 2012 in Benton, AR., at the age of 71. Donald was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of Highway Church of Christ and in construction business. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter B. and Eunice Masters; a son, David Masters, and two sisters, Jenelle Bradford and Wanda Lou Palmer. He was survived by his wife, Donna Masters; two sons Eddie Masters and wife, Rebecca of Elizabeth City, NC, Greg Mays and wife, Karen, of Benton, AR.; three daughters, Donna Jackson and husband, Mike of Quinlan, TX, Tonna Jackson and husband, Chris of Alexander, AR., and Kim Sternisha and husband, Mick of Olive Branch, MS; three sisters, Norma Hill and husband, Gene, of Antlers, Joyce Brown and husband, Skip of Wichita Falls, TX, and Gayle Seabolt of Oklahoma City; and one brother, Dennis Masters and wife, Carla of Little Rock, AR.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Roller-Ballard Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Highway Church of Christ with Minister Jerry Almond officiating. Interment followed at the Forest Hills Memorial Park .
