Donald Ray Felihkatubbee was born May 16, 1940 in Talihina to Osborn and Etta Katherine (Flowers) Felihkatubbee. He passed from this life on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Antlers at the age of 70. Donnie served his country in the United States Army. He lived in Palo Alto, CA., for 12 years. Donnie worked on classified projects under contract for Hewlett-Packard for the U.S. government. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Donnieâ€™s passion was music. He was a talented musician and played several different instruments, specifically the electric and acoustic guitar. He enjoyed playing for many churches in the area and spending time with family and friends. Donnie belonged to the Antlers Masonic Lodge for many years. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents: Osborn Felihkatubbee and Etta Katherine Maxey; grandparents: Lewie & Carrie Felihkatubbee and Tom & Flemmie Flowers; and a brother: Jimmy Felihkatubbee. He is survived by his brothers: Glenn Felihkatubbee & wife Belinda of Springtown, TX., Perry Felihkatubbee & wife Joy of Antlers, and Billy Maxey of Dallas, TX.; sister: Rosie Couch & husband Sid of Antlers; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends. Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Cowboy Church with Darrel Heath officiating. Musical selections included: â€śWill the Circle be Unbroken,â€ť â€śPeace in the Valley,â€ť â€śPrecious Memories,â€ť â€śAmazing Graceâ€ť and â€śDixie Land.â€ť Honorary pallbearers included: Dale Carter, L. C. Pool, Butch Pool, Henry Hatcher and Drake Savage. Interment followed at the Finley Cemetery in Finley. Family and friends may send online condolences at www.millscoffey.com.
