Dora Dowell

Dora Earlene Dowell was born August 16, 1950 in Talihina to Paulene (Billy) Fish. She passed from this life December 29, 2011, in Talihina at the age of 61. Earlene married William Charles Dowell February 14, 2006. She was a member of the King’s House of McAlester. Earlene enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and helping others. She is survived by her husband of five years: Bill Dowell from McAlester; children: Jimmy Noah and wife Donna of Oklahoma City, Paul Noah and wife Joyce of Edmond, Angela Oliver and husband Paul of Yukon; brothers: Bobby Nichols and wife Becky of Hartshorne, Ronald Nichols and wife Peggy of Antlers, Darrell Nichols and wife Tammy of Antlers; sisters: Debbie Watson; mother: Paulene Fish of Blanco; grandchildren: Devon and Lexey Noah of Edmond, Tanee Noah of Oklahoma City, Leslie and Gregory Oliver of Yukon; as well as many other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Noah Cemetery in Albion with Pastor Scott Walker and Pastor Charles Kurray officiating, and musical selections by Brandon Heath.
