Driver pinned for 30 minutes

Krasshonda N. Bray was transported to the Plano Medical Center in Plano, TX., after her vehicle ran off the road on a county road south of Rattan.

Bray’s condition is unknown but she was transported due to head and internal trunk injuries. Bray is a 24 year old female from Valliant. There were no passengers at the time of the collision.

Bray was driving east on a county road in Pushmataha County when she ran off the road to the left, over-corrected, ran off the road to the right and over-corrected again causing the vehicle to go into a spin. The vehicle then went off the left where it struck a tree. Bray was pinned in the vehicle for approximately 30 minutes and was freed by members of the Sobol Fire Department. The collision took place around 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 16, 2012.

Officers decided the condition of the driver was apparently normal and the cause of the collision was speeds to fast for the conditions.

The collision was investigated by Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Chris Dennis, #223, of the Pushmataha County Detachment.
