Evelyn Leola Streun was born February 6, 1944 in Norman to R.E. and Dovie (Logan) Gay. She passed from this life on August 6, 2012 in Antlers at the age of 68. Evelyn married Ronnie Streun on September 8, 1962 in Norman. She lived in Antlers for the last 35 years. Evelyn had had many hobbies and interests such as gardening, flowers, cooking, canning, watching bull riding & America's Got Talent. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family & friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents: R.E. & Dovie Gay; father & mother-in-law: George & Etta Ree Streun; and grandson: Ricky Hardin. She is survived by husband: Ronnie Streun of Antlers; children: Tim Streun & wife Debbie of Antlers, Rhonda Enox & husband Jeff of Gladewater, TX., Melissa Lampton of Antlers, Gary Shugart & wife Debbie of Hugo; grandchildren: Jayme Enox, Trenton Hardin, Alyssa Enox, Brookelyn Lampton; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Antlers First Baptist Church with Pastor Donny Day officiating. Music included: “Amazing Grace” Performed by Rhonda & Missy, “Let Me Tell You About Love”, “I Want To Stroll Across Heaven”, “Love Can Build A Bridge”, and “I’ll Fly Away”. Honorary Pallbearers included her Many Friends & Family. Interment followed at Oddfellows Cemetery in Antlers. Family and friends may send online condolences at www.millscoffey.com.
