Head-on collision injures three

A Mustang, being driven by Anna Boyd, a 54 year-old female from Boswell, was parked facing south on the west shoulder when they pulled onto the roadway and crossed the center line.

Ashli Boler, a 21 year old female from Antlers, was heading north on HWY 271, a little over a mile north of HWY 70, when here Suburban was hit head-on by the Mustang. Boler’s vehicle rolled, about 1/4 turn, and came to rest on the passenger side.

Passengers in Boler’s vehicle were a 2 year old white male of Antlers, a 5 year old white female of Antlers, a 6 year old white female of Antlers and 23 year old white male, Earnest Whisenhunt, of Antlers. Boler was treated at the scene and released. None of the passengers sustained any injuries.

Boyd’s passenger was Frank Boyd, a 54 year old white make from Boswell. He was also treated and released at the scene. A. Boyd was transported by EagleMed to St. John’s in Tulsa with head injuries. She was listed in stable condition.

Reports show that all occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.

The collision took place on March 4, 2013 at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Choctaw County.

This collision was investigated by OHP Trooper Eric Blades, #209, of the Pushmataha County Detachment.
