The week of July 24th many new titles were transferred from the big screen to DVD for our personal enjoyment. Some of those titles included: On the Inside (R): A troubled young man is sent to a psychiatric institution for the criminally insane and soon finds himself in a fight for his life battling ghosts inside his head and very real enemies all around him.
Age of the Dragons (PG13): An adaptation of the classic novel Moby Dick set in a medieval realm where Captain Ahab and crew hunt dragons for the vitriol that powers their world.
The Monitor (R): After a baby monitor picks up another channel, Anna begins reliving the nightmare she’s recently escaped.
Brake (R): A secret service agent is held captive in the trunk of a car and endures metal and physical torture as terrorists attempt to extract information for their plot against the President of the United States.
Meeting Evil (R): John is taken on a murder -fueled ride by a mysterious stranger that transforms the weak, disillusioned husband and father into a desperate hero willing to go to any length to protect his family. Samuel L. Jackson and Luke Wilson star in this thriller.
Silent House (R): Trapped inside her family’s lakeside retreat, a young woman finds she is unable to contact the outside world as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house.
Coming to DVD the week of July 31st are: Hijacked (R): Randy Couture stars as a FBI agent who’s plan to reconcile with his ex-fiancé gets ruined when she boards a private jet that is targeted by hijackers working for the same crime boss he is chasing.
We the Party (R): In Los Angeles, five high school friends deal with romance, money, prom, sex, bullies, Facebook, college, fitting in, standing our and finding themselves.
LOL (PG13): Miley Cyrus stars as Lola in this new dras ma. As a new year at school begins, Lola’s heart is broken by her boyfriend, though soon she is surprised to find that her best friend Kyle has feelings for her.
Redemption (R): A new western that’s a story of compassion and deserving Christian love.
ATM (R): On a late night visit to an ATM, three coworkers end up in a desperate fight for their lives when they become trapped by an unknown man.
Detention (R): As a killer named Cinderhella stalks the student body at the high school in Grizzly Lake, a group of coeds band together to survive while they are all serving detention.
Hatfields & McCoys: The highly successful mini-series makes it’s way onto DVD. Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton star in this telling of the greatest feud in American history.
