December 6, 2012

After several reported burglaries in the area of Main Street and N.E. “B”. Deputy James Marzek was patrolling the area when he noticed two individuals walking in the area at 12:30 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012.

Deputy Marzek stopped the individuals, one male and one female, and did a check to see if any local warrants existed for the two. Both individuals came back clear. The female was identified as Brandi Messer and the male was Patrick Davis.

According to reports, both individuals were acting very nervous and would not look at the Deputy while he was talking to them. Deputy Marzek asked both individuals if they had anything illegal on them and they both responded, “No.” The deputy then asked the male if he check him and he told him that he could.

Marzek went to the front jacket pocket, where Davis kept putting his hand, and found a glass smoking device with a residue that tested positive for methamphetamine. Marzek asked Davis when the last time he smoked was and Davis told him about 2 hours ago and told the Deputy that he had also been drinking.

Davis was placed under arrest and transported to Pushmataha County Jail where he was booked for Possession of CDS (Meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication.
