James Charles Hancock

James Charles Hancock was born March 4, 1951 in Miller to Leslie P. Hancock and Floy Holder. He passed from this life on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in Oklahoma City at the age of 60. James had lived in the Antlers area all of his life. He married Margery McCort (Pearson) in 1994. James is survived by his wife, Margery McCort of Antlers; three sons, Billy Ray Hancock of Phoenix, AZ, Thomas Leslie Hancock of Pennsylvania and Michael McCort of Union City; one daughter, Kathy McCort of Amarillo, TX; two brothers, Lee Hancock and Aaron Hancock both of Antlers; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild along with several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The family received friends on Thursday, July 21 from 6-8 p.m. at the Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo. Graveside services were held at 11;00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the Miller Cemetery with Rev. Alton Chiles officiating.
