James Oliver Bell

James Oliver Bell, 86, passed from this life on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Baptist Village in Hugo. He was born May 7, 1928, in Farris, the son of Jack and Gertrude Bell. He married Ida Mae (Bobbie) Hohn on December 26, 1971, in Hugo. His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John T Bell, Jr. and Robert Bell and one sister, Anne Walker; three sons, Jim Bell, Jr, Tommy Hohn and Steve Bell; one daughter, Rose Burnett; and one Great-grandaughter, Aslyn Ryan. He is survived by his wife Ida Mae (Bobbie) Bell; two daughters, Jan and husband Bill Emond of Stockton, CA, Patricia and husband Keith Winkler of Pampa, TX; two sons, Calvin Bell of Phoenix, AZ and Willie and wife Gabby Hohn of Wilburton; and one son in law, Mikel Burnett of Buffalo Valley; 18 Grandkids, 33 Great Grand Kids and 8 1/2 Great-Great Grandkids, along with many other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at 2:00pm at Rocky Point Cemetery. Services were conducted by Mark Gardner and eulogy by grandson Don Willis. Pallbearers included: Don Willis, Eli Hohn, Jeremy Winkler, Tanner Winkler, Mark Bell, William Kinch, Robert Kinch, Alfred Nabors, Jarvis Nabors, and Shawn Nabors.
