Juanita Icy Gooch

Juanita Icy Gooch was born on March 20, 1923, in Rattan, to Alfred and Icy (Cypert) Clark. She went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2011. Juanita married U.F. “Pete” Gooch on June 23, 1942. Juanita was a World War II “Rosie the Ruiter” working at the Goodyear Tire Company in San Francisco, CA., and later as an aircraft repair Tech at Tinker Field in Oklahoma City while her husband served his country in Germany. She was especially proud of her work at the Pushmataha County Hospital during the 60’s. Pete and Juanita were in the Feed Business in Antlers for 35 years. Juanita loved caring for her family and especially singing and telling the children about Jesus. Juanita is survived by her daughter Jayce Clark of Antlers; grandchildren Chad Fulford of Antlers , Christa and Joe Kidd, Lauren, Dustin and Tyler of Baldwin City, KS., Josh Snider of Covington, TN., Chelsea and Jamie Landreth, Laramie and Shanie of Kosoma; Brother R.W. Clark and nieces and nephews. Juanita touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all who know her. Her memorial service will be held in March.
