June sales tax figures told

Antlers received a sales tax disbursement of $93,568 in June, an increase over the $90,017 received in June of last year.

Clayton received a sales tax disbursement of $23,463 last month, an increase over the $22,313 received in June of last year.

Rattan received $3,660 in sales tax last month, an increase over the $2,054 received in June of 2011.

Pushmataha County received $100,817 in county sales tax last month, down from the $111,305 received in June of last year.

Around the area, Atoka County received $166,386 in June, a slight decrease from the $167,857 received in June of last year.

Choctaw County received a sales tax disbursement of $152,099, a sizable drop from the $179,102 received in June of last year.

McCurtain County received a June sales tax disbursement of $328,079, an increase over the $298,739 received in June of last year.

The June distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission represents local tax receipts from April business. Companies that remit more than $2,500 monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically. Revenues reported represent sales from April 16th to April 30th and estimated sales from May 1st to May 15th.

The disbursement of $123,465,857 in sales tax collections was returned to 509 cities and towns, an increase of $8,845,619 from the $114,620,238 distributed among 508 cities and towns in June 2011. The use tax disbursement of $10,754,799 was distributed between 370 cities and towns.
In county returns, 77 counties received a $26,371,488 sales tax disbursement. The use tax disbursement of $2,310,309 was distributed between 72 counties.
