Kay Elaine Schweining

March 15, 2013

Kay Elaine Schweining passed away Thursday evening, March 7, 2013 at the age of 75. Beloved daughter of Milton and Mollie Schweining, Kay was born January 1, 1938 and the 1st baby born in the New Year. Kay is survived by her brother: Barry (Butch) Schweining of Falcon CO, two children: Warren Decker of Pagosa Springs, CO, and Ronna Decker of Nacogdoches, TX; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Kay will be remembered for her love of the Lord, her humor, and how she loved to quilt. Kay never met a stranger and was always one to help out anyone in need. To Kay’s Bunco friends (Kay loved to win), the quilting bunch at Finley and Miller, the group at the Church of Christ, thank you for your friendship and support. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your church or Cancer society in memory of Kay---she would absolutely love that. There will be a Song Celebration in honor of Kay on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Antlers Church of Christ.
