Saturday, July 23, 2011 members of the OSU Extension Services hosted a “Kids-A-Cookin” class at the Extension Center. The Kids-A-Cookin’ classes show adults that kids can cook and help them identify kid-friendly recipes along with age-appropriate “jobs” when cooking.  Kids-A-Cookin’ also helps older kids identify recipes that appropriate for their age and they can create by themselves. During Saturdays class they made Pumpkin Pudding, Deviled Eggs, Apple Smiles, Tuna Salad Sandwiches and Yo-Fruit.

The “Kids-A-Cookin” class also has recently made an appearance at the New Beginnings Meetings, which are held on Friday nights. During this meeting they made Apple Smiles, Tuna Salad Sandwiches and Deviled Eggs. Those pictured are Ivey, Beth Pike, Allision, Angie and Dru.
