Local student places in 66th annual SE District Livestock Show

Hundreds of students from across the state recently competed in the 66th annual Southeast District Livestock Show at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. The show is jointly sponsored by the Eastern Agriculture Division and the Wilburton Lions Club. There were 413 swine, 108 sheep, 159 goats and 124 cattle entered in the show.

Cassidy Courtwright of Rattan FFA received Natural Reserve Breed Champion at the 66th annual Southeast District Livestock Show at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. There were 108 sheep in the competition in six breed categories. The show was sponsored by the Eastern Agriculture Division and the Wilburton Lions Club.
