Lucy Tuck

Lucy Lorene Tuck was born October 13, 1923, in Lucky, AR., to John Albert Martin and Della Narcissa (Wright). She passed from this life December 28, 2011 in Antlers at the age of 88. Lucy married Coy Tuck September 14, 1940 in Ringold. She enjoyed flower gardening and crocheting, along with visiting with family and friends. Lucy was preceded in death by her Son: Tommy Lewis Tuck; parents: John and Della (Wright) Martin; brothers: Varna Martin; Quincy Martin and Willard Martin. She is survived by her husband of 71 years: Coy Tuck of the home; son: Benny Doyle Tuck and wife Tommie of Antlers; daughter: Bonnie Sue (Tuck) Thomasson of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law: Dorothy Ann Martin of Sobol; grandchildren: Jon Tuck and wife Joanna of Madill; Sue (Tuck) Richmond and husband Lyle of Oklahoma City; Tracy (Tuck) Pitt and husband Darren of Oklahoma City; Nicole (Tuck) Woods and husband Ray of Newcastle and Dustin Thomasson of Oklahoma City: great grandchildren: Joseph Tuck; Lauren Tuck; Dillon & Lydia Batchelor; Sean Richmond; Rachelle Richmond; Benjamin Richmond; Andrea Pitt; Abigail Pitt; Mallorie Thomasson; Justin Woods; Joshua Woods; Jared Woods; Joseph Woods; Jessica Woods; Great Great Grandchild: Adrianna Rose Batchelor; along with many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Sobol Baptist Church with Pastor David Jordan officiating. Music included “Go Rest High on That Mountain”, “When I Get Where I’m Going”, & “Jesus Knows The Hour”. Pallbearers were Charles Tuck, Troy Tuck, Rick Buchanan, Johnny Courtwright, Benny Gunter, Ross King, Kevin Lundry, & John Paul Lundry. Interment followed at Sobol Cemetery.
