Madge Brock Glass

Madge Brock Glass was born on July 7, 1919 to Isaac and Stella Boland Brock in Konawa. She passed from this life on July 2, 2012 at her home in Broken Bow at the age of 92. A homemaker, Madge had lived off and on in McCurtain County for several years, moving back to Broken Bow from Antlers two years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, dominoes, quilting, antiques and fishing. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Albert (Son) Henson; her parents; sister, Nellie Brock; brothers, Buddy, Aubrey and Curtis Brock; sons Tony Ray Henson and Herman Leon (Bo) Henson and by grandsons Jimmy, Mike and John Henson. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Bernie Glass of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Thurman and Alisha Henson of Atoka and Billy and Ann Henson of Middlesex, NC; daughter, Mary Lou (Henson) Wakefield of Broken Bow; sister, Kathryn Bishop of Tuolumne, CA; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held Wednesday, July 5, 2012 from 5 to 7 pm at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2012 at 10:00 am at Bunch-Singleton Chapel with Brent Franks officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home of Broken Bow. Online condolences may be sent to
