Marilyn Hobbs Lindholm

Marilyn Darlene Hobbs Lindholm passed from this life on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the age of 56. Marilyn was born on May 4, 1957 to Roy Hobbs and Myrtle Cash Hobbs of Hugo. Marilyn was a daughter, sister, an aunt, a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother. She had two children: a son, Rocky Shane Hobbs, and a daughter, Renea Michelle Hobbs. She resided in Wylie, TX. Marilyn was an awesome waitress employed at Tony’s Diner, where she met and acquired many friends. Marilyn was known for her compassion and soft heart. She had a very soft heart for dogs and cats. Marilyn had many talents and was not afraid to tackle a project. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lindholm; son, Rocky Hobbs; father, Roy Hobbs; brother, Thomas Hobbs; and stepsister, Debbi Waters. Marilyn leaves behind to mourn her passing, her daughter: Renea Walker of Dallas, TX.; mother: Myrtle Cash of Antlers; stepmother: Barbara Hobbs of Mead; sisters: JoAnn Goucher of Dibble, Sandy Benzine and husband Larry of Rattan, Teresa Hobbs-Ross and husband James of Rattan, Kim Walker of Antlers; brother: Alan Hobbs and wife Traci of Mead; stepbrothers: Kip Messer of Mead, Robby Messer and wife Sandy of Savoy, TX., six grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends. Memorial services were held Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at Tony’s Diner in Garland, TX. Special music included: “When I Get Where I Am Going,” by Brad Paisley; “Spirit in the Sky,” by Norman Greenbaum, and “Amazing Grace,” by Willie Nelson.
