Maudie Lee Rudder

Maudie Lee Rudder was born May 25, 1939 in Spencerville, to Jack and Irene (Fatheree) Wilkerson. She passed from this life December 15, 2012 in Hugo, at the age of 73. Maudie graduated from Rattan high School. Later married David Rudder and they have remained married for the last 25 years. She enjoyed all of the outdoor activies including fishing, camping riding 4-wheelers. Maudie also liked to go dancing but most of all she enjoyed spending time taking care of her family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren along with any other child that needed her help and guidance. Maudie was preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Irene Wilkerson; brother: Brit Wilkerson; sister: Ella Mae Claxton. She is survived by husband: David Rudder of Ft. Towsona; children: Dewayne Wilkerson and wife Jewel of AL, Scotty Wayman and wife Bonnie Dunlap of Antlers, Eugene Wayman of Cloudy; brothers: Jerry Wilkerson and wife Peggy of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Ed Wilkerson and his wife Judy of Rattan, Merle Wilkerson of Sobol, Williard Wilkerson and wife Donna of Antlers; sisters: Joy Wilkerson, Wanda Wilkerson both of OR; 8 grandchildren: Joseph Wayman, Lee Wayman, Cassie Wayman, Tiffany Wayman, Natasha Wilkerson, Chad, Lena, & Nicki; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends. Graveside Services were held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 17, 2012 at Antlers City Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Mueller officiating. Music was “Coal Miner’s Daughter”, “I’ll Fly Away”, “Amazing Grace”, & “When I Get Where I’m Going”. Pallbearers included Shorty Hancock, Scotty Wayman, Joseph Wayman, Lee Wayman, Bear Sutton, & Mike Edwards with Honorary Pallbearers as Bobby Willis, Shelby Dobbs, Eugene Wayman, & Larry Claxton.
