Mickey Lee Holloway was born January 27, 1941, in Mansfield, MA the son of Jim Bob and Sally Ross (Nesbit) Holloway. He passed from this life at his home surrounded by family on Friday, March 1, 2013, at the age of 72. Following school, he served his country in the U.S. Army, where he was an expert marksman. Mickey married Ines Marie Bailey on January 18, 1963, in Antlers. Mickey served as a Police Officer for the City of Tulsa until his retirement. They moved to Antlers after his retirement and have lived here for about thirty years. Mickey was a member of the Antlers Church of Christ. He enjoyed all types of radios including HAM Radio, as well as pictures and cameras with his photography hobby. Mickey was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Tony Holloway; four brothers, Jack, Joe, Billy, and Bob Holloway; one sister, Betty Goodman; his son-in-law, Michael Gouker. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Ines Marie Holloway of the home; two daughters, Rebecca Lynn Gouker of Collinsville, LaRhonda Gail Richardson and husband Kendall of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Gene Holloway of Antlers, Tommy Holloway of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Tanner, Sadie, Anthony, Taylor, Kristaphor, Gary, Bailey, and Quentin; one great-grandchild, Braxton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends from Tulsa, Antlers, and the State of Texas. Funeral services for Mickey Lee Holloway were held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Antlers Church of Christ with Brent Franks officiating and burial following in the Antlers City Cemetery. Funeral honors were provided for Mickey by the Tulsa Police Honor Guard. The family requests that donations be made in Mickeyâ€™s memory to the F.O.P. Scholarship Fund, or your favorite charity.
