Morning golf recommended

June 15, 2011

I suspected that when summer arrived that it would arrive all of a sudden and with a vengeance. Sure enough it has been almost August like i the weather department here lately.

I recommend playing golf in the morning if a person can. The mornings have been nice. Of course that is when we do most of the course work but I figure we could watch out for each other.

I haven't mentioned it in a while but I do give golf lessons on fundamentals. If you are interested in the game or just need to tune up, give me a holler. Rick Hunter of the Hugo Golf Club once said that it seemed like more people learned to play golf at Antlers Springs Golf Course than anywhere else around.

We had a CAT game last Thursday and Trey Buchanan gave us a lesson on that format. Treg got 6 CATS out of the 8 that were out. The other 2 were claimed by Randy Dillishaw and myself.

Treg also got both KPs.

The above is why Treg is going to play college golf at Paris Junior College. I believe he will do well.

Speaking of doing well, Treg's sister Megan is playing well in her own right. If she keeps continuing to improve, the colleges will be looking at her in a few years.
