July 5, 2012

On June 26, 2012, Pushmataha County Deputy Polly Culver, along with other Deputies an the OSBI, conducted a search warrant at a residence located in the Rattan Mobile Park in Rattan. This residence is currently occupied by Natasha Cathey.

Upon entering the residence, Cathey was standing in an area between the living room and kitchen next to a bar area. Cathey was asked to leave the residence while it was being searched. When the residence was searched, a small clear plastic baggie with a white powdery substance inside of it, was found on the bar area near where Cathey was standing.

At this time Cathey was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and was transported to the Pushmataha County Jail.

A motion to deny bond was submitted by Assistant District Attorney Mark Undergrove. This motion was submitted to the courts because Cathey is currently charged with, and going through court proceedings, Murder in the First Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Robbery in the First Degree with a dangerous weapon and Kidnapping (charges from 2010). Cathey was bound over on the above mentioned charges pending a jury trial. And that Cathey has since been charged with new charges while being released on bond for the above mentioned charges.

A preliminary hearing is set for July 11, 2012 at 9:30 a.m.
