Murder, mystery, and dinner!

August 23, 2013

Looking to do something different this weekend?

The Antlers Band Boosters are hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner Saturday night, August 24, at the Antlers High School Cafeteria and Auditorium at 6 p.m.

For $38 per person, you can enjoy a catered meal by Ables' Barbecue featuring pork loin, baked potato, salad, green beans and a roll. Your wait staff for the night will be members of the Antlers High School Band.

After dinner, you will be treated to a show by the U.S. Actors Company out of Texas who will perform “Uncle Buzzard's Last Request.” Uncle Buzzard fears that he doesn't have long to live, so he has called the Hatch family together to execute his new Last Will and Testament. He doesn't want his family bickering over his estate after he is gone, so he wants to personally explain his wishes. Will his daughters, Robin and Sparrow, accept his last request? What about Marcia, his new attorney? Will everyone play nice, or will someone be executed instead of the Will?

Guests will then enjoy dessert of strawberry shortcake and discuss the show before all the answers are revealed.

Tickets must be purchased ahead of time and can be bought at Ables' Barbecue or from any Antlers Band Booster member. All proceeds will go to the Antlers Band Boosters who supports the Bearcat Band with whatever they might need for the year. For more information, contact Janet Norman at 580-271-2889.
