Myatt Tomby (M.T.) Greenwood Jr. passed from this life on Monday, November 18, 2013 in Antlers, at the age 88. M.T. was born March 16, 1925 in Antlers, to Myatt Tomby Sr. and Ida (Graham) Greenwood. M.T. was a Veteran of the United States Army. He served his country during World War II. He became a member of the Methodist Church in Antlers in 1950 where he later taught Sunday school. He loved the Lord and he loved his family dearly. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. M. T. was preceded in death by his parents Myatt Tomby Sr. and Ida (Graham) Greenwood; his wife Mildred (Cole) Greenwood; brother Allen T. Greenwood; brother Jacob J. Greenwood; sister Mary Ann Bobb; sister Marie Ruth Baggs; sister Hattie Lu Duncan; and son Warren Greenwood. M.T. is survived by son Justin Thomas Greenwood of Dallas, TX; son Oran Jay Greenwood and wife Vivian of Antlers; son Tony Greenwood and wife Buggie of Antlers; son Charles Ray Greenwood and wife Brenda of Antlers; daughter Rebecca Lynn Illapotubbee and husband Sonny of Antlers; daughter Jacquelin Kay Renteria of Antlers; daughter Jamie Renee Renteria of Antlers; grandchildren: Adrienne, Matthew, Gentri, Gabrielle, Jerald, Annie, Jessica, Brent, Cody, Skyler, Tyler, Tayler, Tanner, Jonathan, Serina, Chuckie, Dakota, Russell, Sina, Fonda, Mildred and Dennis; great-grandchildren: Maddox, Cruz, Larry, Heather, and Josh; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Pallbearers included: Brent Greenwood, Jerald Renteria, Jonathan Illapotubbee, Matthew Renteria, Chuckie Doctor, Dakota Doctor, Skyler Greenwood and honorary pallbearer Bert Holt. Family night was held Thursday November 21, 2013 from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. in the Mills & Coffey Memorial Chapel at Burkhart Funeral Service in Antlers. Funeral services were held Friday, November 22, 2013 at 10:00a.m. at the Bob Meyers United Methodist Church in Antlers with Reverend Amy Johnson officiating.
