Nancy Sue Cook

Nancy Sue Melton Cook passed from this life on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the age of 69. She was born on December 17, 1941 in Della to the late James and Edna Mae (Denton) Melton. Sue married Douglas Alton Cook on June 21, 1963. She was a member of the Rebekahs, where she held several offices in Texas and Nevada and was a flag bearer at a national convention. Sue is survived by her husband, Douglas Alton Cook, of Lake Palestine, TX; daughter, Melissia Delphene and husband Christopher Stanley Lubera and granddaughters, April Elizabeth Victoria and Amber Lacey Lubera, of Las Vegas, NV.; and son, Michael Douglas Cook, Ph.D, and wife Lori Grant, of Monterey, CA. A private memorial service will be in Antlers.
