Nora V. Cole

Nora V. Cole was born October 23, 1961 in Antlers to R. C. and Darrel Dean (Eccles) Cole. She passed from this life January 11, 2012 in Dallas, TX at the age of 50. Nora had lived in the area for the past eight years. She was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed gardening, playing with her grandkids, and spending time with her family and friends. Nora was preceded in death by her her father: R.C. Cole. She is survived by her children: Bert Kenyon & wife Jessica of Atoka, and Jill Anderson & husband Kevin of Atoka; grandchildren: Bryanna Kenyon, Elektra Kenyon, Hunter Kenyon, Fisher Kenyon, & Seth Anderson; mother: Darrel Wright of Antlers; brothers: Hollis Cole & wife Tammy of Antlers, Clay Cole of Atoka, Arty Cole & wife Pat of Stringtown, Ricky Wright of Antlers, Michael Wright & wife Mildred of Antlers; sisters: Brenda Irvin of Antlers, Rosie Steudeman of Atoka, Kit Cole & husband Albert of Atoka, and Becky Williams & husband Kelly of McAlester; as well as many other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Hall Cemetery with Pastor Dallas Simmons officiating. Music included “When I Get Where I’m Going”. Interment followed.
