Obuch Middle School has been awarded a $500 grant from TRC Disaster Solutions of Tulsa through the company’s Partners In Education grant program. The funds are being used to help pay for the integration of technology into the classrooms curriculum.  The purchase of an iPad 2 to download audio books will benefit students with moderate to severe disabilities.

“We are grateful to Obuch Middle School officials for taking this initiative,” says TRC president Felix Ontiveros. “Recognizing that we live in the information age, it is increasingly important that all students have access to all learning resources as they prepare for high school, college and life in the real world.”

Ontiveros says the company’s Partners In Education grants are designed to meet the financial needs of public and private Oklahoma schools during these tough economic times.
